- DDDeniseMay 3, 20261.0The employees who work in the key section and plant center are amazing. However, the one star is for the appliance center. We dropped over $1,000 on an appliance that needed to be delivered. It took forever to get assistance to begin with. Then after we were lied to that it should only take 1-2 business days for them to call and schedule delivery. We’re on week 3 and the delivery is still not scheduled, we don’t know when or if we will get our item, and out of the 346,086 numbers I was given to call no one would take responsibility for this issue. Lowe’s claims it’s out of their hands and is on the third party delivery folks. They claim it’s Lowe’s not making the item available. It’s been a back and forth ordeal. If you need an appliance and especially if you need it delivered, go next door to H&S. It’s cheaper, they’ll deliver it in less than or about a week, and they know how to answer a simple question. Our washer and dryer was delivered and setup within 7 days and was a few hundred cheaper than Lowe’s. I’m kicking my own butt for trying Lowe’s this time. Never again. I’m going to have to either call corporate or refund my purchase now. Save yourself, don’t buy major appliances from Lowe’s!

Update 2 days later from the original post. Still no carts! I walked into the lumber yard and had to walk out to get my own lumber cart. Where is HOME DEPOT when you need one?

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
