Lowes Home Improvement in Cullman is our only big box home improvement store. It is well stocked and has many quality product offerings. On the open floor it can be difficult to find help. They do have a helpful staff in several of the specialized departments. Their appliance department has a wide variety of brands and products. They also run some very good sales on their appliances. Today we purchased a refrigerator and recieved $1,000 off list price. With that we also recieved free delivery, install and disposal of oir old refrigerator. Lowes also has a customer reward program which they are working on to made more lucrative. Plus you get an extra 5% off your purchases with the Lowes charge card. On todays purchase the card saved us an additional $137 savings..

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with Lowe’s in Cullman, Alabama.
I purchased a brand-new dryer that was delivered to my home. After installing it and confirming the outlet had the proper 240 volts, the dryer was completely dead and would not power on.
I called Lowe’s for assistance and sat on hold for 26 minutes before my call was disconnected. When I finally reached someone again, I was told the appliance specialist was busy, so they took my phone number and promised a callback. An hour passed, and no one ever called.
At that point, I loaded the brand-new dryer back into my truck and drove it to the store. I simply wanted to exchange it for another unit. Instead, customer service contacted the appliance department and told me it would be another 20 minutes before anyone could help me.
After everything I had already gone through, I had enough. I requested a full refund instead.
Defective products can happen, but poor customer service is a choice. Lowe’s had multiple opportunities to make this right, and they failed every time. Between the long hold times, dropped call, broken promise to call me back, and lack of urgency when I arrived at the store, this was an extremely frustrating experience.
I expected much better from a company the size of Lowe’s. I will think twice before purchasing another major appliance from them.

This is the most ridiculous store I’ve been to it’s took me 3 days to get told that they are out of the lumber I need to complete a job with the customer waiting. They are an absolute waste of time money and effort. Absolutely don’t shop there hopefully they close and something else comes .
