We purchased a 299$ Kohler Extra Tall toilet from Lowes 280. The box was unopened and looked brand new. We hired a plumber to come and install it along with a new wooden toilet seat . The plumber informed us that when he was installing the top to the base the washers and bolts were missing. We should have seen that as a red flag but he went to his truck and found some. We did look at the box and the parts and everything looked new and wrapped. After installation we realized it was not an extra tall toliet. Then we saw American Standard on the toliet. We called the store and asked for a manager. A Kevin called us back and basically questioned our integrity and was very rude . Said he could not do anything until we brought back the toliet and then he would see. He kept focusing on how he could not fathom this happening and how did this happen. Instead of focusing on how much this mistake was costing us. We had to ask kevin several times to quit talking over us and he would not .He continued talking over us and finally we asked to receive a call from the store manager who we were told would be in on monday. We will see if he even calls back. So we have to remove this installed toliet and toliet seat. Drag it back to the store and if they have the right toliet bring it back and pay a second installation fee. And maybe they will offer us a discount. They will never have our business again after over 30 years of being a loyal customer. It really is a shame to see customer service so unimportant to big box chain stores .

I purchased an LG stackable washer and dryer and got a delivery window of 11am to 3pm. They showed up around 5:45 without the stack kit. They acknowledged it was on the order but they say the warehouse didn’t put it on the truck. So now they have to come back out another day to stack the units as intended. Quite disappointed in Lowe’s. **Update, they got it done right eventually. I appreciate the effort to finish the task. Thank you.

Update; KATRINA at Lowe’s Inverness who is not a manager or on the management team came through, reached out to the manager, and was able to get us a refund. She stated she has been an associate at Lowe’s for over 20 years and that she’s there to support the customers. Thank you, Katrina!
Horrible experience with Lowe’s Inverness just trying to get a dishwasher delivered and installed.
Their “third party delivery team” delivered a dishwasher I purchased online which was to be delivered and installed by their installation team. The dishwasher was left outside of our home on a rainy Monday. My husband called the store and they had no idea how or why it was delivered and dropped off. They stated it would be picked up TWO days later and then be brought back by the installer to be installed at a later date. My husband stated he did not want the same dishwasher that had been sitting out in the rain installed. They verbalized understanding and stated it would be a different dishwasher.
The dishwasher was picked up at 6 pm two days later. The next day, the installer called saying he was on his way and wanted to confirm the dishwasher was already here. I repeated the entire series of events. He stated the store would have to call me back. Someone at the store called me and stated they could “see” where the dishwasher had been picked up but they could not “locate” the dishwasher.
Two weeks later, we are being told they still cannot find the dishwasher so they cannot issue a refund. Although they can see in their system the item was indeed picked up from our home, they are stating we cannot be refunded until the third party delivery company delivers it back to the store.
Horrible store organization with zero oversight and accountability. The manager is always “in a meeting” or out of pocket and does not respond to messages.
