So clean, bathroom right on first floor for when you have long moves. Air conditioned. They always have two hand trucks at the front door. Door and elevator is code dependent. I'm a teacher who has to move items and furniture out of my classroom at the end of each year. It's the nicest and safest unit I've had! So glad they opened this location. Great guys.

Great experience at the location on Montclair Rd in Birmingham, AL. It’s clean, plenty of dollies available to assist with moving items in and out. Easy to enter and even had step up ladder close to our upper locker location. Used for our daughter’s college room storage over the summer. We’ll be back next summer!

We had a great experience setting up our storage unit today! While Extra Storage had the usually storage unit various set up tasks and fees, Jeff/ Jeffrey Yarbrough (the manager/director/person supporting customers) was amazing! He walked through all the prices to ensure I picked best options for me. He showed me two unit sizes and ensured I had the easiest access unit. He also tried a few different options and ensured I got the best price and was super clear with pricing and plans. Such a pleasant experience for a storage unit and Jeff made it so. Honestly everything with moving is a headache and this was the one aspect ghay hasn't been. The unit was clean, and we fit everything in the units with the carts super accessible and plenty around even with several other folks there. Overall, I highly recommend this location! *Jeff is a gem of an employee (if he hasn't gotten a raise recently he deserves one).

If you're looking for a clean, affordable, highly secure storage unit with great customer service, you can stop looking here. You've found the only one you're going to need.
I've used other self storage facilities in the past, and none came anywhere near this one in terms of quality. It was always clean and low humidity, the temperature was always perfectin summer or winter, and it was well lit and felt extremely secure and safe. Day or night, I never felt uncomfortable there.
They provide two dollies, easily accessible just inside the front door, which made moving things in and out a breeze. The app made door and elevator access fun and simple while making me confident that my belongings were secure. They even had good tunes playing all the time over the speakers throughout the building which made it feel way more inviting than just a silent hallway full of uniform metal doors!
Most of all, Jeff's customer service was outstanding! He was friendly and helpful, and every single interaction I had with him was great! On the rare occasion that I had to call into the national number for customer service, those folks were all fantastic, too.
My family couldn't have been happier with Extra Space. If we need to store things again in the future, this is the only place I'll even consider! Jeff, thanks for making this such a positive experience!
