I had a wonderful experience at Lowe’s in Athens, Alabama thanks to a worker named Colt. He helped me in multiple departments and was extremely knowledgeable across the store. I had two other employees try to help me in the tool department, but unfortunately they were not able to figure out what I needed. I went back to the gas-powered equipment department and found Colt, who had already helped me earlier.
I explained what was going on, and he had me loaded up and checked out within 10 minutes. As a mom with two screaming kids, efficiency and quickness are a must, and Colt provided that along with extreme professionalism. He was kind, helpful, and knew exactly what to do.
I highly recommend finding Colt if you need help at this Lowe’s. He truly went above and beyond and made my shopping experience so much easier!

If you are within the hour of closing don't go to Lowe's in Athens al go to Home Depot in Madison. They will ignore you and tell you everyone is busy at this store.

I have always been a Lowe’s person. That’s where I go for all of my needs. I will continue to do so, but not at this location. I did an online order twice, and both times they delivered to the billing address instead of the delivery address. I called and made a claim. Was told someone would reach out within 48 hours. I heard nothing. Finally I just went to return it. They couldn’t find the order number to return it. They also couldn’t figure out how to do a store credit. I also had two hungry people toddlers and we were easily there 30 minutes trying to get it figured out. The whole time they were acting as if I was the problem. The two ladies had attitudes the whole entire time. When they finally finished giving me a gift card they told me I had to go elsewhere to check out because other people were waiting. BTW, none of this was my fault and I was polite and patient. I will never go back to this Lowe’s again.
