Came in to purchase a closet rack and some plant food as well as return 50 pounds of garden soil I bought in the beginning of the season. I lost my receipt and I just opened my account so unfortunately I’m stuck with the product I never needed in the first place. I get it, there’s fraud and everything else, but I refuse to give you any more money because just NO. I’ll go purchase that stuff at Home Depot. I don’t like throwing away money; bummer…

I went in looking for a cordless drill. One if the workers showed me a special thry had advertised buy a drill and a saw and get 2 free batteries. So I decided to get these items. There were no batteries so I asked an associate walking by who couldn't be bothered so he got someone else. This lady started yelling and screaming at me telling me there were no more batteries. So I asked if they gave raincheck which pissed the lady off even worse. I actually had to tell her to calm down. Her name started with a c and she was foreign. I took the on sale paper work up to the front desk so I could get some help. Maybe 25 minutes later the gal at the front desk said it was while supplies lasted, which I was okay with. Thats how it goes. It should have been on the sign. I d I s however have the lady at the desk find me the manager because you do not scream at the customers. His name was Peter. He looked like I was going to get the same treatment from him as well but to my surprise he must have had a few complaints with this woman and he stopped everything he was doing to go try and make this right. Thank you Peter you were great but that woman shouldn't be helping customers. Being screamed at im public sucks but if you like that sort of things go here

I went to find more of a product that I had purchased there previously and the spot on the shelf was empty. I attempted by several means to get an associate to assist me in finding out if they had more in the back or on the way. No one responded after multiple attempts so I went to the customer service desk. There I met Tony who was rude and refused to help. I asked for a manager and he claimed to be the manager. I was irritated at this point and when I asked if I needed to contact corporate, he accused of threatening him and picked up the phone to have me removed from the store for "threatening" him. I left without buying anything. Tony has no business being in customer service and I will not go back. I have no business spending my money in a place that refuses to work with a customer. I went across the street to Home Depot and found exactly what I need and their employees were very helpful and nice. That's good to know when I am getting ready to start several remodeling projects in my home. To sum it up, Lowes doesn't answer their phone doesn't want to help their customers and gets mad if you are irritated with their lack of desire to be even slightly helpful.
