- DDdcrossland14 days ago1.0So i am not sure if it is just me or if this happens often, but i have used Lazy Boy recliners for over 20 years. I recently purchased a high dealer big boy leather electric recliner from the Waco location. The store was nice and salesman did fine. Well i am not sure what happened but the recliner stopped working and something has broke within it. It is not barely a year old and i believe i paid around 5K for this recliner. I tried calling the store like it says to do on their customer service with no success. i left several messages and finally received a call back from someone, but no the store itself. They said no problem we will set up service to get you fixed up, but that service was not for approx. 5 weeks later, wow. So since the chair broke it had been around 2 months from start of this. Well, that service was set up in February, and to date, i have never heard from them and not even a call. I had to throw my 5K plus recliner in the garage as it is unusable and just takes up space. I wonder what is going on with Lazy Boy, over the years they were always great. Hopefully they will somehow in someway get back with me and get my high dollar broke recliner fixed. Anyways, i thought i should share this. Maybe they decided to just stop warranty and service all together, i don't know, but you would imagine if you had a reputation as they have had over time that they would want to go above and beyond. Please get my recliner fixed and out of the garage!!
