    Lowe’s Craftsman Warranty Training Needed Very disappointed with how this Lowe’s handled a basic Craftsman hand-tool warranty. I needed one wrench replaced from a 200-piece Craftsman set, and multiple employees insisted I had to return the entire set just to exchange a single tool. That is not how Craftsman warranties work. To make it worse, the specific model number of the broken wrench is no longer manufactured, which clearly means the warranty applies to the closest available replacement model standard practice for Craftsman. Despite this, employees either didn’t understand the policy or refused to apply it. For comparison, I called Craftsman directly and they handled the replacement over the phone with zero hassle and no questions asked. Lowe’s seriously needs to retrain employees on Craftsman warranty policies, especially since Lowe’s is a primary Craftsman retailer. This should have been a 5-minute counter exchange, not a frustrating back-and-forth over incorrect information.

    Most of the employees are clueless. And or have an attitude. They make no effort to restock. You have to ship to store if they are out of stock on anything because they will not restock for weeks. The delivery system is the worst I've seen. I have yet to get delivery on time. Seriously needs a management change.

    This establishment has the worst customer service. I walked in to pick up an online order and instead of being greeted and asked if I needed assistance, I was pointed to the kioske. I checked in, heard the notification go off from the device worn by the same associate that pointed me past her as she had an obviously personal conversation with a customer. It was only after several minutes of waiting that she finally asked me what I possibly could have been waiting for in the online pickup area. Didn't even offer to help load the ladder into my truck either.

    As a Christian, I make the effort to commend companies whose associates go out of their way to provide their customers with exceptional service. This is for Billy Coates - a Bosch representative at the Lowes on Broadway in Tyler. Upon finishing work and getting ready to drive away, I asked him to give me a jump start - he asked one question: "where's your van ?". Thanks for taking the time out to make my day.
