- SRSylvia RomeoNov 30, 20251.0Went to this store today and wanted to purchase a bowl. Unfortunately, it had a huge chip in it. I politely asked the clerk to ask the Manager if they would discount. I was told by the clerk it could only be 10-20% that would be allowed. The Manager came and I asked her politely to see if she would give me more than 10% because it would entail me buying supplies to fix. She said she had to ask Store Manager. The Store Manager Carrie (which I verified through an employee there because she would not disclose her name) said absolutely not and became irate when I tried to explain that it was not just a chip but a larger piece that broke off and I would fix. She was so irate that she SNATCHED it out of my hands and said “we are done here and you will NOT buy it and you can leave.” Other customers who witnessed were MORTIFIED at her behavior and language with me. Two people gave me their names and phone numbers as witnesses to her behavior. One gentleman told me to press assault charges because she did touch me when she snatched it from my hands. She immediately walked to the back and would not turn around. I did snap pictures of her as she was not going to turn around or give me her name. I further verified her name because I called another store to see if they had the bowl. Her name is Carrie and I hope the Regional District Manager sees this post. I will be calling headquarters in Almeda California tomorrow. I WILL NEVER SHOP this store again!!! And to think I spent a few hundred dollars in that same store yesterday!!!! This woman deserves to be FIRED!!! UPDATE AS OF 12/12/25 - I have not had any response from this corporation other than what is noted below as a response they will look into it. This business deserves to go out of business which it will in time!!! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!
