When I began with Extra Space I had a great promo for under $100 and then after the first month it went up to $100. Normally for storage units, they will up the rent maybe $10 - $20 within the first 6 months, that's expected. But a $68 increase, that is more than 50% increase in cost.. is actually ridiculous. Call it business, call it theft, call it what it is. Per this increase I will be leaving this storage facility. Be aware of this type of treatment. It will happen to you.
