Christmas has become so over commercialized and starts way too early. It must be the year for the Grinch Christmas as it is pretty much the only theme you can find. The employees have become rude and really nonexistent throughout the store. NOT customer service friendly at all. Upon getting to the check-out line there were no less than 4 employees chatting away while only one register was open and of course the line kept getting longer and still no second cashier. Kelsie our cashier refused to sell us a package of Clearance Asst. craft paper. She saw the .59 cent price tag on the back and stated she couldn't sell it for the $3.99 clearance price, she needed to charge us .59 for 50 sheets. It didn't matter what the front of the package stated. Angie(store associate) finally came over and looked at it and told Kelsie to sell it to us after looking at it. Angie took a break from smacking her gum. Very unprofessional. Customer Service is a big thing for us and well Hobby Lobby in Temple, TX is no longer an option for us.

After about 5 minutes, another employee came and said to the people behind me that they can get them on another register. Then pointed to me and stated they could check me out as well. Imagine my "delight" when I go from being next in line to the last person in the new line because the customers behind me decided to make their own rules and the cashier said nothing to correct the situation. I politely put my items back. Long story short, if you happen to be waiting in a line and a cashier tells you they can check you out at a different register, don't fall for the lie. Unless you want to lose your spot and end up further than where you started.
