  TOP TIER SERVICE!!! I have to take a minute and commend the team at Sara’s appliances especially Chuck. He went over and beyond to do a service call (During the holidays mind you) When our filter suddenly would not respond and dispense both ice and water. We bought this fridge eight years ago, y’all! We are beyond grateful for the prompt assistance, But furthermore, for Chuck’s calm and kind approach to helping us resolve this issue on a moments notice. Thank you, Chuck! Thank you, Sara’s appliances.

  I dont usually leave reviews on businesses as I know this can affect the bottom line in both positive and negative ways, however, I can say I would not shop at this place again. It's a small store that is definitely competing with the big box stores like best buy and home depot, etc. So, you would expect them to excel at the little things. We went to the sugarland store to purchase a microwave and trim kit to replace our current one that seemed after 10 yrs to be on the blitz. The salesman had excellent knowledge and really helped us with our questions about the microwave as well as a potential upgrade for our current cook top and range hood. The prices seemed reasonable and competitive and the microwave seemed easy to install as a DIY, so we paid for the microwave and trim kit and asked for more information to see what the cost was going to be on the rangetop and hood. I was asked to submit photos and information on the current setup of our cooktop so the installer could give us an estimate. I sent that the Minute I got back from the store. We waited a few days anticipating that the installer would let the salesman know what the estimate would be. Nothing for days, I sent out a request for an update, nothing. Went back into the store a few days later, reminded the salesman about our request, was advised they would reach back out to the installer, went over the exact items we wanted and waited for the quote. Mind you, lots of things are super expensive lately, and this rangetop without installation was going to be well over 6k for the appliance. Not super expensive, but a nice commission and sales for Sara appliance. Crickets. Also, still waiting for the update on the microwave and trim kit status. Finally after a week, went into the store and inquired as to the status of the purchased item and also the status of the quote that never materialized. Was advised, the item was in the warehouse and I could pick it up if I wanted down near Bellaire. That happened to work well for me, so decided to pick the microwave up so I could install it same day. Asked again about the installer and was told that individual had gotten into an accident and they would reach out to another source. Picked up the microwave and trim kit, everything seemed in order, went home and opened the boxes to find that the so called new trim kit was missing the hardware, one lower bracket and one upper bracket. Microwave was however unscathed. Called Sara appliance and was advised that it was a return and that this happens sometimes when the warehouse is supposed to return the kit to the originating company, but is resold to an unsuspecting customer like myself. Told the salesman I was going to return the trim kit, keep the microwave and will source my own solution for the necessary trim kit. Returned the trim kit the next day, and was advised by the salesman that the new installer was actually on a job 5 min from my residence and could come out and provide an accurate quote as well as answer any questions about the installation. Was told between 1 to 3 pm. Went home, waited and waited and waited, got a text from the salesman that the installer was taking his help home and would give me a call. 2 hours later, nothing. Well, Sara appliance lost a customer, got a bad review, and provided a different business the potential for a pretty decent sale. Im not recommending this place at all, it just seems a lot of things are getting overlooked, lack of quality control, and really bad customer service. In this business environment, not a good distinction to have. ***update*** so kudos to the owner and Joey who reached out to me to get more information about this particular situation. thank you to the Owner and Joey for contacting me and letting me know they do understand this can be frustrating, they are involved in the business and would like to rectify the things that went wrong.

  I visited several appliance stores to purchase a high end outdoor grill. Sara Appliance Store in Sugar Land was my # 1 choice because of the attention to detail and 5 star service provided by Mr. Rick Dade. Highly recommend this store and especially this professional for all your appliance needs. Very Satisfied!

  Unbelievable useless warranty service. Replacement washer came in and the installer damaged my island cabinetry and they refused to even acknowledge the damage while the installer was here. The Epic warranty they sell on the appliances are absolutely ridiculous! Do not buy from these guys find another company!
