Week by week, Premium Poolsmith keeps our pool beautiful and healthy. Just as importantly, they respond promptly the moment I have a question and are quick to help address any equipment issue that might arise. They offer piece of mind in addition to great service.

Excellent service and a very thorough walk thru of the application the now runs the pool. I would highly recommend their service for anyone wanting to replace or modernize their pool equipment.

Showed up very quickly after contact, repaired settings that were causing the heater to shut down when the spa jets were running. I can do some things on my own but some are past me, they isolated each of the components and got it working without replacement. Timely, cost efficient, and courteous. Definitely recommend

Premium Poolsmith absolutely saved the day for us. Before we could close on the house, the pool needed to be completely drained and detailed — and they pulled off a miracle cleaning. It honestly looked beyond hope, and they somehow got it sparkling and presentable in time. The previous owners hired them for that job, and after seeing the results, we immediately decided to stick with them. Now we’re on weekly service and our guy Cole is fantastic: reliable, professional, and genuinely detail-oriented. He keeps everything looking great, communicates clearly, and you can tell he takes pride in doing things the right way. If you want a pool company you can trust (especially when timing and quality really matter), Premium Poolsmith is it. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions About Premium Poolsmith

How often do I need to have my pool filter cleaned?

Filter cleaning frequency depends on the type. Sand filters typically need backwashing when pressure increases 8-10 PSI above normal, with annual deep cleaning. Cartridge filters generally require cleaning every 2-3 months and replacement every 2-3 years. DE filters should be backwashed at 8-10 PSI pressure increase and undergo thorough grid cleaning 1-2 times yearly. Professional pool cleaners ensure proper maintenance for crystal-clear water. Contact Premium Poolsmith to discuss your specific filtration system needs.

Why won't my pump prime?

Several factors can prevent pump priming: low water levels, air in the system, clogged impeller, suction-side leaks, closed valves, dirty skimmer baskets, failing pump lid O-ring, or a worn pump motor. Running your pool pump 8-12 hours daily helps maintain proper circulation. Our experienced technicians can quickly identify and resolve these issues, often during a single visit, to get your system functioning optimally.
