    I paid to have a recliner from my son’s nursery reupholstered in Oct 2025, and it’s March 2026 and still looking at the stained recliner. The fabric was backordered, fine. Then I asked if could pick another - went in and picked it (after waiting 3 months) was charged 17 bucks for the difference. Fine. Then, THAT SAME DAY in Jan., they magically realize the original fabric was no longer backordered! It was shipped and received! Crazy?!? I was refunded my 17 dollars (ha!) and told I’d be in queue for upholsters. It’s been 2 MORE months!! It’s March and zero movement. It’s insane. I call to ask status, she can’t find my order, then she can but she’s oblivious. Eventually, they have the upholsterer call me to schedule pickup, great! But zero apologies, explanation, consideration from the store. If I didn’t call, I think they’d take my money and I’d never hear from them. It’ll be 6 months OR MORE by time I’ve got a finished chair (and by the grace of God himself, at this point) and zero ppl at this establishment seem to find this concerning enough to address it in any meaningful way. I can’t ask for a refund cause it’s special order… I’m just out a couple thousand bucks and still no chair 6 months later….

    I had my sofa reupholstered and really liked the fabric and pillows that I chose, but when they delivered my sofa cushion, it was about an inch too short, and the only remedy I was given was to take out some of the cloth that would give it more support and make it last longer. The bottom fabric leaves a print when you sit on it so you have to fix it every time you get up. When I finally got the back pillows. They were too small and didn’t fill the back of the sofa so now I’ve had to put the old pillows back on to give it more support in the back. I brought this to the attention of the store and the solution I was told . “Well, just live with it for a while and see what you think” whenever I said something about the pillows, I was told”well that’s the size that we’re on there”. I do not feel like I received good customer service nor there was nothing done about the issues.

    Denise helped me choose custom window treatments for my living and dining room areas and couldn’t be more pleased. Originally used Ethan Allen’s design services and she had much better insight on how to make my room look bigger. Can’t wait to continue more projects!

    I bought 14 C rods at $14 each. The sales rep I dealt with at Calico in Southlake, TX never told me I could not return them if not needed. After finding out I don't need them after all, I was told by the rep and store manager at Calico Southlake, that I cannot return these bulkily manufactured rods. These rods were not custom made for me. No one at the store told me the rods are non-refundable. I think not letting customers know, prior to purchasing, that items are non-returnable/non-refundable is unethical. We are remodeling our home and we were considering working with them to custom make our formal area windows treatments; we changed our minds. Be aware, folks, when ordering non-custom made items at this place you are not going to be able to return. They treat custom and non-custom made items the same.
