How many bags of material are in your bulk "cubic yard"? How much material will I need for my project?
We offer our 3-way mix and hardwood mulch in both bagged and bulk quantities. Bulk purchases are often more economical. For reference, 1 cubic yard of 3-way mix equals 27 bags (1 cubic foot each), while 1 cubic yard of hardwood mulch equals 13.5 bags (2 cubic feet each). To calculate the amount needed for your project, use this formula: (Length in feet x Width in feet x Depth in inches) 324 = Total cubic yards required.
My plants at home look like they are dying. How do I know what is wrong with them?
To diagnose issues with your plants, we recommend bringing a sample or photograph to our nursery. Our knowledgeable staff can provide assistance if you provide details about watering frequency, sun exposure, and recent fertilization. We'll assess the problem and suggest appropriate products from our nursery to help revitalize your plants.
How can I order a plant that I want?
If you're seeking a plant that's not currently in stock, please contact our nursery at 409-386-0204. Our inventory varies seasonally, and we receive weekly shipments. We can inform you about expected arrivals and, for less common plants, we may be able to place a special order with delivery to our nursery in approximately two weeks.
