I want to share an experience we had so others can make informed decisions about where they shop.
Last Friday night, my husband and I went to the Lowe’s in Sherman to pick up supplies for a building project. We parked at the construction entrance, and ours was the only vehicle parked on that end. While we were inside, a shopping cart blew across the parking lot due to the high winds and slammed into the side of my husband’s 2024 Chevy truck, leaving a about a 6 inch dent in the side passenger door and paint scratches.
We took photos, and store employees also documented everything that night. We were contacted today and told that Lowe’s is not taking responsibility for the damage, even though it was caused by their shopping cart on their property. Instead, they suggested that we file a claim on our own insurance, which means we would have to pay the deductible and it would go against our insurance.
I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled. In my opinion, a business should take responsibility when damage is caused by their equipment on their property, especially when carts are not secured during high winds.
Based on this experience, we will not be shopping at Lowe’s again.

Lori forcefully grabbed out flowers and bent them for her convenience instead of picking them up correctly, so, we now have damaged flowers because of her, I cannot believe the lack of care this women has. Mind you, these flowers were looking very healthy before she jacked them up.

The staff who served us in Lowes Sherman Tx, in the garden department yesterday evening were very kind and helpful. I have been dealing with Lowes for 30 years. We have many businesses. We do really appreciate to deal with kind staff. Mr. Mark and Mr. Will who helped us loading the pallet in our truck were very kind , friendly and professional. They made everything easy and smooth. We will make sure to give our business for Lowes in Sherman, TX. Thank you Lowes!

My dryer went out and i was dreading having to go get another because it is usually a lengthy ordeal and I needed it right then!
Ran to lowes expecting that but i was in and out with my new dryer in probably less than TEN minutes!
I didnt actually time but I walked to the back showed the lady the dryer i wanted from my phone (unfortunately i did not get her name). She says its right here, go up front and pay and i will meet u there. She was at the front door waiting before i could get checked out and i didnt even have to wait at check out!
This was by far the best interaction i have had anywhere especially with buying an appliance!

First of all I want to brag on Skylar in garden center Saturday she was very helpful and kind . And Elliott on Sunday was very helpful and kind .. the problem is they could not get anyone to help load 10 bags of heavy rock for me .. Elliott and I had to do it .. you can’t tell me there were no men in that store to not help but no one would come ! I will not be back !

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
