I want to compliment a couple of your employees for the service they gave me. All three of these gentlemen were friendly and helpful. Two of them helped my with bags of sand in the afternoon, but I had to go back for more later in the evening. Alonso was the only person (that I could see) in the garden department. He was really awesome. Everything a representative providing customer service should do, he did. And with a smile.
It's a shame that getting good customer service as a woman in a hardware store prompts a review. But it is the exception, not the rule. In fact, the first person I asked to help me at the Pro counter responded to be with a blank stare when I greeted him and acted like I was really putting him out. Couldn't have walked any slower.
So, thank you for the former and address the latter.

This store’s customer Service Continuously goes down. Everyone is setting around on a computer. Everyone is chit chatting amongst themselves two guys doing all the work in the Lumber area when I asked them if they could get help bring some lumber down from a shelf above they told me it would be anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes before they could help Because they were building out orders. went to find someone else at the pro desk to get help the gentleman was at the computer. He talked for 2 1/2 minutes with another employee without even acknowledging me standing within 3 foot of him when he finally did acknowledge me, he seemed lost why I would be asking if there’s someone that could help me in Lumber to get some items down had no clear direction on who I could turn to nor did anything come of it. I was in Lowe’s 23 minutes waiting on two clean 2 x 6 is 16 foot long. I just ended up walking out went back to Home Depot. Lowe’s doesn’t need more merchandise in their stores. You can barely even get around as it is. That’s not why your sales are down it’s because your customer service sucks. No music, no energy. It’s just a bunch of lifeless people walking around the store and generally there’s only a handful of people in the whole store. And unfortunately, very few people in the store seemed Competent enough to actually do their job.How about turning on some music brighten the environment making people feel more welcome And doing a better job on the Customer Service end. The environment feels very sterile like a surgery room, and it’s not inviting at all. For the people that worked there to the ambience of the store you’re failing. And if anyone from Lowe’s would like a recording of the experience after about 15 minutes of standing there, I did record and I have that would gladly share it with you.

Would have given no star. But wouldnt let me so its a 1. Really sucked. First of all the item I was looking for wasn't there. The brand they showed on their website isn't in the store except 1 little box. But the associate tried to tell me the grip rite construction screws were at the other end of the isle that I had just searched. When I say they are not rhere. The associate goes to show me. Then says oh they changed the look and their name. BS. Because it is a major brand and home depot has shelves full of them. They wanted me to pay $7.98 for 100 1" screws of a brand i havent heard of. When I could get the grip rite at home depot of 185 screws for a little over $6. The grip rite brand that they said was renamed and changed packaging. I found a box sitting on a stack of product in the isle. Just not the size I needed. Train your employees better and tell them not to lie to customers. No more Lowes for me. I'll stick with Home depot.
