We entered the store about 20 minutes to closing time and immediately upon entering, were greeted with, we're closing in 15 minutes. No hello, no welcome. More like get out, we don't have time. I ignored it and went to the item I went in there to get and during that time, the store made an announcement that they would be closing in 15 minutes. This is common practice, I've had several retail positions in my past. I made my way to her register and casually asked why she felt the need to "greet" us in the manner that she did, especially knowing the store would make an announcement 5 minutes later. All I asked is why she chose to greet us that way, instead of a hello or welcome. And honestly, I dont really expect an employee to greet us at all, however being made to feel like you weren't welcome is a different story. She became all defensive and rude and as soon as I was heading out the door, I could hear her telling another employee, while I was still in ear shot that I was being ridiculous. Normally, love shopping here and have never had this experience before. Hopefully she's just extra holiday help or she learns a lesson in a positive customer service experience. I think it truly is important.
