  Concern Regarding Discriminatory Treatment and Customer Service Experience at Sherman, TX Hobby Lobby I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding an unfortunate experience my spouse and I had at your Sherman, Texas location during a recent visit to shop for Christmas decorations. We were initially very excited to support our local store and explore the new items brought out for the holiday season. However, our enthusiasm was quickly diminished by an incident that occurred while we were waiting in line at the register. An employee named Sam approached the area not assigned to her and chose to assist two ladies standing behind us who had only two items, completely ignoring us despite our presence and proximity to the register. Sam looked directly at us without acknowledging our wait and then walked away to continue stocking items. This behavior made us feel distinctly discriminated against and unwelcome. It was disheartening to feel ignored and undervalued as customers, especially when we were prepared to spend our hard-earned money at your store. The interaction conveyed a lack of professionalism and respect that we expect from a reputable company like Hobby Lobby. We brought this matter to the attention of the front manager; however, the concern was not taken seriously. The issue was subsequently passed to the general manager, whose name unfortunately was also not disclosed. Rather than addressing our valid feelings respectfully, the general manager made us feel as though our experience was insignificant and that our feelings were somehow unfounded. It is incredibly disappointing to encounter this type of treatment, and it raises serious questions about the customer service standards and staff training at this location. All customers deserve to be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of any personal characteristics or assumptions. We hope Hobby Lobby will take this feedback seriously and work to ensure that such experiences do not repeat, so that every customer feels valued and respected.   I love shopping here! The owner is a Christian and I’d drive out of my way to help them be successful. They have a huge selection of holiday decorations and crafts!

  I always go in for 1 or 2 things & end up coming out with a basket full. Then get outside and go, what happened. Always get lost in beads & jewelry making stuff.
