I would like to thank the employees for their help with my shipping experience today, specifically Kai (I hope I spelled that correctly) for going above and beyond to assist me with my purchases. He's a very hard working employee and deserves a raise and a promotion!! Also, the rest of the staff was incredibly helpful. Had to replace my hot water tank after only 3 years of service due to the hard water. I had already reached out to AO Smith and had a AR number for a new tank on warranty. I arrived at the store had the tank and went to the service desk. I was told I had to bring in the old tank as well as the original invoice. I explained that I had already gotten the AR # and that I bought the NEW House 3 years ago and the tank was included in the purchase. They refused to honor the warranty coverage which I had already received from the manufacturer. I reached out to the store manager and explained the request and that AO Smith had already verified and issued the AR# but she refused to honor it without the original invoice.
I left the tank on the cart went outside and called the store in New Braunfels and they were very cooperative and said yes have plumbers take out the old tank bring it to the service desk and get the new tank. New Braunfels got 5 stars.

If you hate customer service this is the store for you. I leave irritated every time. As I load heavy lumber, cement, pavers, etc. I can depend on employees either watching or vanishing every time without exception. I tried to buy a cinder block tonight from the nearly 2700 in stock and the only ones they would let me buy were so filthy I didn't want to pick them up. All the rest are being used to hold up Christmas trees. They have good selection and competitive prices but you'll need to find what you need on your own. Most employees don't know where things are or anything about them.
