I returned to the Customer Service Desk, at Lowe's (1604 & Blanco), to get an even exchange on two defective Indoor 24-Hour Manual Timer # 148297. I was even going to get an extra timer as a backup.
TYLER the floor manager at the time said he could not under no circumstances exchange the two timers because it was over the 90 days return policy.
I did buy them more than 90 days ago, but the timers were installed (less than 2 months ago). I still have the original package and installation instructions.
The total cost of both timers is less than $14.00.
THD would have given me a THD Merchandise Credit Card for the amount of the product, then I could buy it again with it.
I feel that TYLER needs training on how to be more reasonable, I don't think $14.00 is going to break Lowe's, only more customers going to THD.
As for me, I am extremely tired of paying for CHINA defective products.
Today, I learned an important lesson, always buy what I need at THE HOME DEPOT (THD), they provide better Customer Service.

Buyer beware when purchasing from this location store #2898. I've been shopping at Lowe's for several years now and have never been treated so rudely by employees. Employees at this location obviously do not receive the proper training needed to perform their job functions. I believe management needs to step up with employees training. When asked to speak to the manager or assistant manager employees will say their the manager at this location when only a department supervisor "Marco"! Maybe this is the stores policy but I believe this is misleading and incorrectly performed. Lowe's learn to do better.

I’m extremely happy with the service I received from Lowe’s at Alamo Ranch. I had a new storm door installed with a built-in puppy door, and the entire process went smoothly from start to finish. I was given clear details about the installation date and time ahead of time, and the installer arrived right on schedule.
Jim was professional, courteous, and worked efficiently, making sure everything was done properly and cleaned up afterward. He also took the time to walk me through how to use the door, which I really appreciated.
The door looks great and adds both style and practicality to my home. My puppy and I are both loving it! Excellent service all around—highly recommend.

I have been to the gardening center at Lowe’s Alamo Ranch twice in the last week. Both times, the staff has been very friendly and extremely helpful. One of the employees was Addison. She greeted us as we got there and then was very helpful and pleasant while
we were checking out. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the names of the two young men who helped us but they were also very pleasant and willing to help. I don’t know who hires for the garden department, but they do a great job at hiring great employees.

Frustrated with this store. Ordered for curbside pickup and the store marked it as ready for pickup. I drove the 20+ minutes of Alamo Ranch traffic to pick up to have two very young employees come out and tell me the items were out of stock. Why did they mark it as ready for pickup if it was unavailable? I asked to speak with manager. No manager available. I did NOT want to cancel and place the order again, as I expected the price would change. They told me I had 30 days to pickup, so I could come back when the shipment came in on April 9th. On April 7th, I got the final notice to pick up. This location screwed me over and has made no amends. Would LOVE to speak with management if they're ever available.
