I have been to stores where cashiers don’t greet you, but this so called “christian” store took it even a step further - their cashiers don’t even look at you. They canceled my fabric order and just left me hanging there. After 9 days of waiting I called myself to inquire about it and it took them over 20 minutes of lying and twisting things around to finally tell me that they just canceled it. If I was being told that they would not be able to handle this from the get go I wouldn’t buy that little piece of the same fabric to begin with. But now of course there is a store policy to follow about returns, yet there is none about lying to a customer and tricking them into buying something they would not be able to use.

This rating is based on service, I debated about one star, but I didn't want to be too harsh. 😜
I do shop here often, a few times a month, for the convenience to my home and selection at the store.
As everyone knows they run sales ads that repeat frequently. Every time I shop for yarn, on the first day of the sale, they never have more than 3-4 skeins of any color in stock. I always have to request a rain check. When I do this, I usually get an eye roll from the employee, and a quiz as to was I sure it wasn't on the shelf. When I pick it up, it's like an act of Congress to get it from them. I go to the register and it doesn't get rung up correctly. Once I was over charged, I showed my overcharge to the person who appeared to be running the front end. I had to wait for him to wait for my cashier to be done with another transaction and then he yelled across the registers to inquire what she was charging me for. There was a back and forth exchange between them. Neither of them knew what the heck was going on. I pointed out the simple fact that there was just four items on the receipt and three in my bag. Obviously I have been charged for too many items. Then I had to wait in line to get my refund because the man running the front end insisted I go back to the girl that overcharged me. All the while he stood there, just looking out like an overlord. I didn't expect an apology and he certainly wasn't about to give me one. Just based on that exchange alone I would say that the poor customer service is coming from management because they really act as if they're being bothered. I have gone around the store looking for somebody to ask for help. If I'm lucky enough to find somebody they climb down from their ladder and act very put out to inform me where to find the product. Most of the time they don't give much for directions, more of a point with a hand. I think the problem is that this place is so worried about not having their employees, except for the management, standing around that they have them spread out thinly doing every job in the store, but none of them are done very well because it equates to poor poor service, and very long lines at the checkout. When there are long lines at the check out, which is the norm, the person who appears to be supervising the front end just stares out at everybody, you get the feeling they're annoyed that we are creating lines! If there was another craft store close by I really believe this store would not do well. But, there are so few competitors, so I guess we are stuck with lousy service.
