  Shae at star furniture was great! She knew exactly where to go for the piece of furniture I was looking for, she even went above and beyond to get me everything I needed. I got the hutch I purchased to make my coffee station, everything arrived in great condition. I will definitely go back!

  Star Furniture has some of the most beautiful furniture in San Antonio and at reasonable prices. I always do my due diligence, but usually end up back at the store. Godfrey was an absolute jewel in helping me select just the right piece of furniture.

  Sales rep was absolutely wonderful. Have been doing business with Star for more than 20 years. The inability to not be able to get approved for financing while in store will keep me from coming back.

  Excellent store with excellent customer service and high quality furniture. Godfrey worked with us and he was very knowledgeable about everything in the store. It was nice to have a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional salesperson to walk us through the store. While also answering questions about anything and everything in the store.

  It annoys me that I have to even give a star because nothing about this experience has been good. About a month ago, we purchased a Langley Power Reclining Loveseat. We had it for two weeks and noticed it had a tear in one of the seats that was starting to open. We contacted the store who referred us to customer service. After explaining this to them, sending photos etc. they determined that it was “normal wear and tear” and we could get a new seat casing for $173. We could not believe that was considered normal wear and tear after two weeks. We had hardly sat in it, we don’t have small children, we hadn’t had any visitors since we got it, it was just me and my husband sitting in it for a couple hours a night watching tv. If this is considered normal wear & tear after two weeks, in six months it will be rubble. They refused to send my husband the photos they say they have of the loveseat after delivery however out point was never that we thought it was damaged from the delivery, this is definitely a quality issue. After really looking it over the leather on the seats feels much thinner than on the rest on the loveseat. We have a leather couch that we got from Ashley Furniture that is 15 years old that doesn’t have a scratch on it, we take care of our things. We thought we were getting a quality leather item but it ended up being a subpar item from China. So after the back and forth with customer service managers, they basically said they could only refer us to someone to fix it. That person texted yesterday (and was very unprofessional) and told us it would be $300 to fix it. So we spent around $2500 + delivery on this loveseat and Star Furniture will not it stand behind it - this is why the 1 year limited warranty is worthless, because obviously they can just call anything wear and tear and not have to stand behind it. We felt ok spending that much because when we buy furniture, we have it for years and years so for this to last two weeks is nauseating! The loveseat is now on close out so we don’t have to worry about other people being able to buy it for long, but beware of Star Furniture. We were looking for several other pieces of furniture but we will NEVER shop at Star Furniture again. Edited to add after their bs response: We get that that’s the response y’all are going with, we heard it from three different customer service reps. The point is we had hardly sat in for the two weeks we had it. PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY REFUSED TO SEND MY HUSBAND THE PICTURES THAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY HAVE. AND WE NEVER ASSERTED THAT IT WAS DAMAGED UPON DELIVERY BUT THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE QUALITY OF IT THAT YOU ARE REFUSING TO ADDRESS. There had to have been a weak spot in the leather that started opening. The point is, we had it for two weeks and all we did was sit in it WHICH IS THE POINT OF THAT PIECE OF FURNITURE. It’s only the two of us 50 yr olds who sit in it a couple hours a night and we didn’t do anything to it! We get that you are going to blame us for something we did not do and yes, we are “disappointed” in the fact that it lasted two weeks - which should be embarrassing to you! And your offer to help connect us to someone who can fix it for $300 (after telling us it would be $173 for a new seat casing), no thank you, we’re not spending another $500 on something we paid $3,000 (with delivery) for last month. Clearly there’s an issue since y’all won’t be selling it anymore. I stand by my review. We won’t shop there again and hope other people think twice before they do.
