The staff inside could clearly see me through the window, but they didn’t acknowledge me or make any effort to open the door or communicate. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. If hours change, they should update them or at least be courteous to waiting customers.

The staff is rude and dismissive, which is a hilariously poor choice when you’re in sales. If I’m coming in to spend a large amount of money (or even if I’m just looking around) I expect even a base level of appropriateness. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the website or shop at pottery barn.
