One of the worst Lowe’s stores I’ve ever been to — Store #1645. I’m a Pro Account holder, and my experience was completely unacceptable. I went in to request a simple store credit so I could exchange an item I accidentally purchased incorrectly — basically an even exchange. Instead, the staff refused to help because I misplaced the receipt and offered no solution at all.
Not only did I waste my time, but I also have a pending quote request for over $9,000 that I still haven’t received a response for. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially toward loyal Pro Account customers.
Because of this experience, I’ll be transferring my business to Home Depot and closing my Lowe’s Pro Account.

Went to the appliance section to buy a washer and dryer and Jay was extremely helpful. He recommended items we’d need and he was super polite. Definitely a hidden gem. The washer and dryer works great!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
