I have had my things in storage for almost two years. In late August of this year I was hospitalized, I have epilepsy and one evening I had a Grand Mal seizure. Needless to say it was a really bad one. I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my leg, bruised a couple of ribs and also got a concussion, along with some deep cuts. Needless to say the hospital bill is a huge one, before getting out I had to pay alot even with insurance. I called the office of the storage location and spoke to the personal. I explained my sitution and told them I simply could not pay the month that was due, told them I knew it was going to be thirty days late and that there would be late fees. I was so scared of getting my things go into auction. I knew there was a chance I could lose all my belongings. To my complete surprise the manager was so understanding, he was sympathetic, and very kind. He told me in a gentle voice, "Don't worry Ms. Gonzales we will take care of you, and I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I will hold you in my prayers." He said he would put a note on my account and not to worry. His words made me feel calm and unafraid. There is not a company that has treated me with the kind of respect and heart felt as he did that day. I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage units. They don't just say they care, they actually do. I told you this was going to be a book.
