- ATAlex TDec 19, 20251.0Extra Space Storage, De Zavala, SA, TX This storage unit complex locked me out of the building at 10:00 p.m., disabling my access and stranding me here on the premises. I had arrived sometime after 9:00 p.m., and I am writing this post in real time (just before 11:00 p.m.). My unit is wide open and I have an additional box with me outside that I’m unable to return. Notably, as I stand outside trying to contact someone with this company who can assist me, nobody is available, although the office sign falsely advertises that it’s a “24 Hour Office.” To add insult to injury, the loud speaker keeps informing me that I am a trespasser, and that the police will be notified. I called the police myself, and I now await their assistance, if that’s even possible. Although I can drive away, I’m constructively held here against my will. If you are a renter with this establishment, please contact them to correct this unconscionable policy, which is never provided to the customer. Lastly, this business keeps increasing the rent with what can be classified as minimal notice at best. Thank you for listening…I hope this helps someone out there.
