- RCRolando CortezNov 25, 20252.0You will be disappointed. First off- it’s not their fault, but with the traffic and construction, it makes it hard to pull boat in and out onto the roadway. This is out of their control so let’s not be to hard on them for this. Have you ever needed to throw away anything after unpacking or cleaning up around you? This is not the best place for that. They have 1 dumpster that is locked with a key. They say they have cameras but they are not in all locations. I have had people borrow my tire chocks and straps that hold the tarp down on my boat, I have reported this.. glad that whoever used them, returned them; that was pretty nice of them. The gates are always broken or open, I even asked Brody and he said they were being fixed. Mind you they charge you a fee if you have to come in and drop off or enter the storage after 9pm.. But the gates are open all night! I had two price increases, no big deal- that’s part of renting. However the last time I got a $30 price increase I talked to Brody (manager) about leaving. So he did me a solid and moved me spots and re-started a new lease. Brought my lease back down to $88 plus tax.. $113 total… I was okay with this.. however, 1 month later after going through all the paper work and moving my boat spots, I get a letter in the mail that my new price was going to be $144.. I called and he said it was just Algorithms and nothing he could do. I reminded him that he moved me spots the month before and resign new paperwork. For all the trouble, I would have stayed in my spot and the price was lower than the new spot. But he said he didn’t remember any of that conversation. So I decided to take my chance at a new storage unit, at least I have 1year contract before I get gouged again.
