  The Staff can be friendly. But this particular storage facility has had continuing issues with malfunctioning elevators and non-working entry doors. The real problem is that ExtraSpace Storage pricing is Classic BAIT and SWITCH! Really inexpensive introductory rates are offered on the website (much more expensive onsite in the office) and then a couple of months later the prices increase outrageously. I had 2 different units for 3 or 4 months and received a POSTCARD notification of monthly increases of 118% ($38 to $83) and of 120% ($55 to $121)! Then just 6 months later, more totally outrageous monthly increases (Again, another 4” x 5” POSTCARD Notification) of 119% ($83 to $182) and of 99% ($121 to $241)!! So, IN LESS THAN A YEAR, PRICE GOUGING increases of 379% ($38 to 182) and of 338% ($55 to $241)!!! Texas has State Laws against PRICE GOUGING, and I am contacting the office of the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton.

  Once you memorize the code things go smoothly. However, entering the code for the elevator and to open the door is irritating but i understand an extra security layer. The unloading area should have been bigger for large trucks to unload. Overall, I would recommend despite the small parking footprint.

  To the Owner: I moved completely out of Unit #2080 on Monday 1/26/2026. Yvonne kept blocking my in & out pass code to get inside to go inside to elevators etc. On my last trip to load U-Haul truck, which was minimal I let Yvonne know I’m leaving the facility returning to load last load. I return again not able to get in through the doors to go load up last load because I was blocked with passcode again. Yvonne kept yelling at me saying you need to do this you need to do that, I reminded her I am not one of her employees, I’m actually one of the customers paying her salary while I rented my unit for 4 months. Consumers beware of price gouging and rates going up tremendously when you least expect it! Good luck to all doing business here, you will need it! 🙏🏼
