Lee met with me for several minutes explaining his process and what he would be treating. He asked me what the salesman had said about the treatment they would give. When I told him, he said the salesmen sometimes offer more than they actually are allowed to do. This was pertaining to spraying my attics. He said they're not allowed to go into attics unless they are completely finished like a regular room in the house. How many people actually have attics finished off like this? I asked if he could just stand on the attic drop down stairs and shoot some spray around, he said no. I've never had an exterminator not do that. Anyway, he sprayed very quickly throughout the inside, then went outside. I did not go outside to watch what he did. I occasionally looked out and saw him spraying around the foundation and up the walls some. I never saw him spraying the yard, so I just assume he did. I did hear when he was brushing over the windows and areas where wasp nests and spider webs were. When he was finished he let me know what he did, what he found and that I would probably be seeing bugs coming out in 3 or 4 days. He said this was normal and next time the treatment would be to kill all the bug/insects. We said our goodbyes and he drove away a few minutes later. I will let you know how things are going after the next treatment.

I am extremely pleased with the results using Aptive Pest Control. We began to see a problem with small roaches and within the third month they appear to have been destroyed by the solution sprayed inside and outside the house. I have indoor pets and the solution is safe for them so this is also a plus. Mosquitos and flies were also gone. Cory has been out to my residence twice and he is very thorough and knowledgeable by explaining how the roaches can multiply and their hot spots. I am very glad we began using Aptive Pest Control.

The techs no showed my appointment 2x. I’ve been rescheduled multiple times. At this point this has been the biggest waste of my time and money. I’m they were really quick to have me sign a contract and pay for service but the customer arrived and lack of actual services being done in my home is making me reconsider this whole thing. Don’t waste your $ the sales rep was great but since then it’s been the worst experience and I’m regretting changing companies at this point.

I have a rental property that I use a different pest control company and I have my current home where i used aptive. The techs that have come out have been hit or miss. Some Really great, professional, informative … and some that you can tell this is just a pass through job. My salesman Ian Unick was fantastic while selling me on the service then silent when I needed assistance with complaints. The scheduling process seemed seamless until I tried to reschedule And when they confirmed my appointment time, they showed up after the time window after waiting all day. When I called customer service to see where the tech was , you could tell that the company had outsourced the customer service department to a different country. They were scripted and robotic, couldn’t help me and took forever to go through their script. Thus wasting my time waiting for the appointment AND waiting to get answers from the rep. When my tech showed up finally, he was great and apologetic about the situation which made me want to give aptive another chance. He gave me his direct line for any further appointments and issues but unfortunately when I tried to call again this month, the line was no longer active. I tried calling to cancel my contract and I was told I’d be charged $190 for cancelling. Shame on me for signing the contract but what holds the company accountable? How many chances do I need to give the company before the contract is null and void? I just have to keep paying for shitty service because I signed the agreement or do they have accountability too? It’s no wonder most of my neighbors pay extra for Terminx. That’s what happens when you try to discount service. The service is nonexistent.
