  We came in looking for a couch for the living room. With some ideas already in mind, Stella helped us find what we were looking for. She answered all of our questions and helped us with all our options. Very pleased and will certainly come again.

  I had a very poor and frustrating experience at this La-Z-Boy location, largely due to Stella, who I later learned is the store manager. From the moment I walked in, she was overly pushy and clearly more interested in making a sale than actually helping. I came in to casually look at nursing chairs, but she immediately tried to pressure me into buying an expensive rocking chair. There was no effort to understand my needs—just constant pressure to “decide.” What made the experience worse was the lack of honesty. She told me a promotion was ending that same day and claimed she only worked weekends, which felt like a tactic to rush me into buying. When I asked about pricing, she presented inflated numbers with add-ons, without clearly explaining what was optional versus included. I left feeling uncomfortable and skeptical. To verify, I called another La-Z-Boy location and was told the promotion was actually running for several more days. After thinking it over, I decided to return and make the purchase—but on a weekday. To my surprise, Stella was there (despite saying she only worked weekends), and the promotion was still active. This confirmed that I had been misled multiple times in an attempt to pressure me into buying on the spot. It’s extremely disappointing to experience this level of dishonesty, especially from a store manager. I would strongly caution others against trusting the information provided here.

  Wonderful customer service experience with La-Z-Boy. Our salesperson, Elva, did an excellent job and was so knowledgeable about the different materials and the care involved with each chair. She answered all our questions and helped us find the perfect chair. Thanks, Elva!!!!

  I walked in and pretty quick I noticed a sales woman coming for me. I had hoped for a minute alone to look around, but the moment she started talking I relaxed and just told her everything I wanted and what was going on re my furniture situation. Turned out, she was the manager and her name is Stella. She is AMAZING! Not like an ordinary sales person. She was all in to help me! But not pushy. So relaxed. I met Stella there twice so far and it was literally like meeting with a great girlfriend! She was funny, caring, so human, genuinely friendly (not fake for the sale), and such an absolute delight to work with! I will be refurnishing two more rooms over the next year or two (probably one per year) and I plan to be doing it ALL through Stella at Round Rock La-z-boy! She went above and beyond for me. When I was worried about where my furniture would come from, because I didn't want to end up with a showroom model or a return, she said she would show me exactly where it's from and made sure everything I was interested was either AT THE WAREHOUSE so it would be coming from there or would be built in Tennessee. Tracking the origin of my furniture is pretty cool. I track the origin of my olive oil, how much more important is furniture! Thank you Stella!! My biggest problem with La-Z-Boy, and it is a real problem is that everything they sell is extremely comfortable and stylish so I ended up trying to decide between sets which is way harder than it seems. I've shopped Bassett which is great, but twice the price and there isn't nearly as much to choose from. Same with Ethan Allen, with actually much less to choose from than Bassett. I looked at Rooms to Go (don't bother if you want something that lasts) and Living Spaces, but I wanted quality, comfort (for a really bad back and bones), good service if I should need repair, without having to sell an arm to get it. The La-z-Boy Round Rock showroom is beautiful. There is a LOT to choose from, and if something isn't there (from La-z-boy) they seem to be able to get it. This will definitely be my go-to furniture store into the foreseeable future.
