  I’d likely give a higher rating, but for two things. 1. They got me in there with a reasonable rate ($59 for a 10x10), that was not a “promotional” rate for just a few months. And it stayed that way for about a year, when it then went to $64. “Only $5”, but still almost 10% increase. 18 months later, it jumped to $86. Then a year later, $99. Then $110. We’ve almost doubled in about 4 years. Then another year later and $130. Well, at least the facility is open, clean, and has ALL that great “security”. Until … 2. I went to get into my unit, only to discover it had been broken into. They had stolen multiple large power tools and some cycling gear, as well as tearing open a few boxes just to see what was in them. No sign of forced entry, lock still there, etc. When I reported it, counting on their cameras to be able to find someone hauling off things like a BRIGHT YELLOW TABLE SAW, they “looked into it”, only to inform me that they didn’t find anything, and that I could file a police report if I wanted to. And that “the facility doesn’t even have any way to get into your unit, so there’s no way an employee did it.” Uh huh. So if someone just abandons their unit I guess they just let it sit full of stuff forever. Absolutely no way for them to get in. ALL they did to “compensate” me was to give me a reduced rate (almost the same as my original rate) for nine months, after which it went right back up to $114. Savings there came nowhere near making me whole for what was stolen. I recently moved out, and won’t be going back there if I need storage in the future.

  Love this company, great rates, clean facility. I've rented from McNeil location in the past and now renting a unit at the 620 location. Very clean and Thomas is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly just wonderful customer service! He's the best!!! Thanks Thomas for your help!

  Martha and Elena at Extra Space Storage in Round Rock are just great. As soon as the building went up, we moved in from another nearby storage company. We could not be happier. Great, personal customer service. It feels like they know us and care more than you’d expect from this type of business. Thanks to everyone there!
