- AZAlisha ZaidiFeb 5, 20261.0My family and I have been long-time customers at this Hobby Lobby, but today’s experience was awful and humiliating. When returning a defective product, I was made to feel as if I had broken it myself and was trying to return it dishonestly. The item was only $15 — if store policy doesn’t allow returns on broken items, that would have been completely fine if communicated respectfully. Instead, the attitude and snide comments from the cashier, the manager Ozlem, and the store manager Robert were unacceptable. Robert said, “I don’t want to argue with you,” while Ozlem and the cashier made comments to customers behind us such as, “We’re so sorry you have to wait because of them.” They laughed when my mother and I tried to speak — which was incredibly disrespectful and humiliating. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated experience. Customers are treated poorly, dismissed, and made to feel uncomfortable. No one should be made to feel targeted or degraded in a place they shop.
