Really at the end of my rope. Spend a lot of money at Lowes. Home Depot has the ability to export purchase history. Lowes does not which is a real pain in the rear. Then Lowes started this terrible Locker system to pick up items which is slow and requires about 8 interactions with the phone and verification codes for each item...not each order. So if you have a single order with 10 items you will standing there for 20mins opening 10 lockers...it is stupid. Finally got upset and someone came over and just handed me my items. Last, watch the delivery charges...I had two orders of small items that would not ship to a store and had to be home delivered. The Checkout price was $9.99 for each but once it shipped the delivery on each went to 79.00 which I would not be so paranoid and catch that!!! Went to the store to complain and the first 3 people said that cant fix it and call Corp!! Finally a decent manager reviewed it, and I could tell she had seen this before. She refunded the delivery in 30 seconds...but the hassle of arguing only shows the incompetence of Lowes being 20 years behind on their processes and systems....bottom line more money moving from Lowes to HD and Amazon.

The staff here is so bad I always regret coming into the store. Most of the staff is toxic or trying to hawk you useless programs. It's so bad that even the self checkout machines are begging for donations. There is helpful staff however they are woefully unqualified for even basic tasks (like retrieving stock from above).

Window Installation Nightmare — A Cautionary Tale
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience with Lowe’s window installation deserves a warning to others.
I ordered 10 double-pane windows — a major investment I was excited about. The sales process was smooth, and I felt confident everything would go smoothly. That’s where the good part ends.
Six months later, the windows have been sitting in my garage for over six weeks with no installation date in sight. The biggest issue? Lowe’s sales and installation teams operate in silos and do not communicate. Delivery must be scheduled before installation which was extremely difficult to coordinate.
After multiple attempts we finally had an install date. I rearranged my home to give the installers full access. However, they never showed up. Lowes called late morning to tell us they had to cancel our appointment. I was told the next available appointment was over two weeks out — no apology, no urgency, just “that’s the only option.”
When the installer finally arrived for the second appointment, he refused to do the job. Why? Because:
1. We needed extra parts the salesperson said we didn’t need.
2. Our interior shutters had to be removed — something the salesperson said wasn’t necessary.
When I asked why the sales rep gave incorrect info, the installer said:
“Salespeople aren’t installers. They don’t know anything about installation.”
Let that sink in.
Two addition weeks pass: still no install date, no help removing the shutters (and no company will touch them unless they installed them), and no accountability from Lowe’s.
I’m beyond disappointed. I’ll never use Lowe’s for installation services again, and I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for window projects. The lack of coordination, transparency, and customer care is staggering.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
