- LMLaura MendozaOct 7, 20251.0had the worse experience at hobby lobby, i went to look at the Christmas sales and left empty handed! I was shopping around and one of my toddler twins started crying and having a bad meltdown for a toy he wanted so i walked away trying to calm him down, he was loud i understand i don’t excuse that but hes a kid kinda hard to make him stop crying. My dad was waiting for fabric to be cut and the lady decided to start talking about my son saying if that was her son she would take him outside and people shouldn’t have to hear that, saying back in the day they never cried like that in stores and also tells her coworker if he hears the kid and he also starts talking about my son saying he passed by him and he was so loud. Not knowing the man getting the fabric cut was his grandfather, my dad addressed her and said that is my grandson what is the issue he is crying because of a toy and she was speechless. Mind you the lady seemed in a bad mood when asking for fabric to be cut already. If she cant hear a kid cry she should stay home. As soon as my dad told me i was very upset i told the cashier and she called a manager she said as a grandmother herself she knows how kids could be and that was not right. They did say they were going to address the situation with them i simply don’t want another mom to feel bad for going out in public with her kids, especially if its a mom with multiples which is already hard for people like that to come and judge and make your day worse! I do appreciate the cashier and the manager seemed upset that happened so i hope they do change things, that was not okay for them to have any comments about a toddler that did nothing wrong to them.

Telling my wife’s dad that “ someone should shut that kid up and tell the mom to get out of here” how is it right that the employee sat there and MOM SHAMED A MOTHER OF TWIN TODDLERS . I’ve spent so much money there to decorate my home. Will not be going back. Management should do better next time.
