    As a first-time At Home customer, I was quite disappointed with the customer service I received. I had hoped this could be a reliable go-to store for home goods, but my experience was far from satisfactory. When I arrived for pick-up, the staff asked for my name and order number. Since I had to look it up on my phone, which took about 5 seconds, I was surprised that she didn’t want to wait. Instead, she asked me to step aside and then proceeded to check out someone else. After I provided her with my order, she looked it up and then asked me to list the items I had purchased. I started recalling each item from memory, but she just walked away to go get my order. When she returned with the cart, she asked for my ID. As I was searching through my purse, she thought I hadn’t heard her and yelled at me, “I need to see your ID!” This was the first time I had ever been asked to spell my name, provide the order number, list items I purchased, and show my ID in one place. A few days later, I came back to return a couple of the items that did not work out. I brought the order paper that came with my pick-up. When I got there, I handed the employee the paper. She then said to me, “I need to see your receipt.” I looked at the paper, and it had the order number, barcode, and listed my transactions. I was confused because this was my first time shopping with At Home. She rudely said, “You’re not supposed to have this paper.” I was even more confused because it was given to me. However, she scanned the paper, and it pulled up on her computer, but she insisted that I give her a receipt. After a few minutes of searching through my email using the order number on the paper, I showed her the receipt, and she was satisfied to proceed with the return. These employees are power-tripping and I was not treated with respect and manners. I will bring my business elsewhere.

What is the At Home return policy?

No receipt? No problem!* Returns of unused items in the original packaging will be fully refunded within 60 days (90 days if you’re an Insider Perks member) with proof of purchase through your Insider Perks account or credit card or receipt and a valid ID. If your purchase cannot be verified, you’ll be issued a store credit based on the current price of the item(s). Christmas merchandise returned after December 25 will be refunded for the current price of the items, even with the original receipt. We do not provide exchanges. You're welcome to return any unwanted product and purchase new items. We are unable to accept returns on mattresses. We are unable to accept returns of pillows and cushions without all of their tags. We are unable to accept returns of items marked “All Sales Final”. Products delivered by one of our local delivery partners, including PICKUP, Roadie, and Door Dash, must be returned in-store. If an item you purchased is damaged or defective, please return it within 60 days to your nearest store for a refund.
