When I reported it, Aptive’s response was essentially that without video proof from inside my own bedroom, there was nothing they could do — it was simply my word against the technician’s. I understand that proof is important, but the complete lack of accountability or meaningful action after 7 years of loyalty is unacceptable. This experience has destroyed my trust in this company entirely. If you are a homeowner considering Aptive, be aware that you are inviting strangers into your home and, based on my experience, the company will not stand behind you if something goes wrong.
