- CCCindy Colchado (Cindy)Sep 19, 20251.0Make sure you go in side and check in your equipment rental maybe even take a picture and video. Months ago We rented a tow dolly and returned it same day, called inside and asked if we need to go in to check in she said “NO” . Well apparently it was taken from the lot or not properly reported returned. I stormed over there and spoke with U-Haul customer service and my next call was to the Pharr PD. I don’t know if it’s a scam they were trying to run but they picked the wrong one. Anyway they said it was settled, but then yesterday we try to rent a pick up from uhaul on cage and UHAUL HADNT REMOVED THE REPORT. It ended up being removed and were able to rent but with extra time and frustration. There are better places to rent your U-Haul equipment. I have never had any incidents with all the services I have used at other locations. Beware.
