    Terrible move-in experience. I picked SpareBox because they showed the lowest cost in the area for the unit, but that cost was quickly inflated with an extra monthly insurance fee and an administrative fee that wasn't mentioned anywhere until I was checking out. When I got to the unit, I couldn't remove the "tag" they used to show it had been cleaned, and there was nobody on-site to help me, so I had to call in for help and was directed to walk around looking for other units without locks of the same size and tug on their tags until I found one I could actually remove - then they changed my reservation to the new unit. The new unit was not clean, it had a number of cobwebs in it and looked like it hadn't been opened in months. To top it all off, I needed a lock for the unit, and when I went to buy one from the kiosk at the front (again, no person on-site), it took my money and didn't dispense a lock. I've called twice now to get a refund for the missing lock and still have not gotten a resolution. Absolutely rotten service overall, very disappointing move-in experience.

How do I rent a unit?

We offer three simple ways to rent a unit: On our website: You may filter through our locations to browse available units. You may also create your reservation and process your move in, all conveniently online! On location: All our locations (excluding SpareBox 0016 and SpareBox 0019) have a 24-hour on-site rental center with an easy-to-use kiosk. The kiosk will present all unit availability for the facility, and you easily create your reservation or move right in! With customer service: If you need assistance, please call (833) 777-7273 and one of our customer service team members will be happy to assist you in finding the right unit.

How do I set up my online account?

From the home page, click the red Register button in the upper right-hand corner: Select your state. Select your facility location. Enter your last name and unit number, exactly as they appear on your invoice or receipts. Note: Be sure to include any prefixed 0’s, or if you are in an accessible unit, be sure to include “ADA” after your unit number. After entering your last name and unit number, you will be prompted to set a password and a security question for your account.
