  Mid 2020 we began our search for a Pool builder. Our neighbor had a McKinney Pool and highly recommended them. After setting up a meeting and providing Jeremy our ideas he custom designed a pool and spa that was perfect for our needs. For the past 5 years the pool has been trouble free and easy to maintain. I attribute that to the quality craftsmanship they provided during the build and installation of high end Hayward equipment. The pool/spa is energy efficient due to the variable speed pump and can be pre-programmed for various tasks or controlled remotely with a phone app. I could go on with the many features it has such as Freeze Protection Mode, LED pool lighting themes etc. But, the customer service has been second to none. Anytime I’ve emailed, texted or called they have answered my questions right away. Having been referred and then referring another neighbor should speak for itself.

  This review is long overdue. Our pool was completed in April 2023, and after three years of use, we’ve been incredibly satisfied. I received estimates from nearly a dozen companies, and McKinney Pools stood out with the most honest pricing and overall professionalism. They brought our design ideas to life and helped us create them at our desired price point. They use Hayward equipment, which has been outstanding. The heater works quickly and powerfully, the large filter requires less maintenance, and the Hayward vacuum they provided still works remarkably well—we use it weekly and it performs like new. The controls are easy to use, and the mobile app makes it simple to manage everything from our phone. The materials have held up beautifully, and the pool still looks great. We’ve had a few minor issues over the years, and their team responded quickly every time. A heater sensor warranty issue was fixed within days. Recently, we had a fluke accident that cracked a pool deck tile due to an external factor -- McKinney came out within two days and replaced it with a perfectly matching tile at a very reasonable price. Even three years later, their customer service remains professional, responsive, and courteous. When friends compare our pool to theirs, they’re consistently impressed by the quality and surprised by the value. Highly recommend.

  URGENT WARNING: Severe Professional Misconduct & Safety Hazards Executive Summary: Do not engage with this company. They ask people to remove their reviews and pretend to be concerned or aplogetic. Do not fall for it. Look at the pictures I have attached. My wife was devestated lining in their garbage thrown everywhere and the most vile workers peeing in water bottles. If this review is remove I will post it again and again and again. I do not post reviews ever but this is beyond belief. 40,000 for the train wreck they have left us with. Our experience has been an absolute nightmare characterized by gross negligence, physical intimidation, and hazardous construction. Once final payment is rendered, you lose all leverage and are treated with utter contempt. 1. Hazardous Workmanship & Safety Risks The technical execution of this project is not only poor; it is dangerous. Electrical Malpractice: We witnessed the lead electrician consuming alcohol (Heineken) while performing live electrical work. Fire/Electrocution Risk: The pool lights—costing $1,074.65 per bulb—have failed four times. The light does not fit the niche; it floats freely in the water with exposed wiring, creating a terrifying safety risk for anyone entering the pool. Structural Failure: The pool is physically uneven by several inches, the tile work is cracked/misaligned, and the structure has now developed a significant leak. 2. Unprofessional Subcontractors & Site Conditions To maximize their own profit margins, the owners hired untrustworthy and "vile" labor. Property Misuse: Workers were found sleeping in our private storage sheds. Sanitation Issues: We discovered workers urinating in plastic bottles and leaving them to float in the stagnant, green pool water. Negligence: Our home was left in a "dump-like" state of construction for months while the owners remained unresponsive. 3. Management & Ethical Concerns The management style of this company is built on "the bait and switch." The Bully Tactic: While the initial sales process is "gold-standard," any attempt to address deficiencies is met with extreme arrogance and verbal bullying from the owner, Jeremy. Legal Standing: We have been informed by third parties that this company is currently facing multiple lawsuits for gross misconduct. Final Verdict: This pool is a money pit fueled by money-hungry owners who disappear once your pockets are emptied. We are currently in the process of filing a formal lawsuit to address the ongoing light failures and structural leaks. Protect your home and your finances—stay away.

  Great experience! Our pool was finished in 6 weeks and was such a smooth process. They have so options to choose from for your selections. The whole process was smooth and the team kept us informed along the way. Highly recommend!
