I host a Christmas party every year and I always get my supplies at Hobby Lobby. Well, today, after searching the whole store for the 1st item on my shopping list to no avail, I decided to look for an associate to inquire about it. After searching the whole store, I finally found some ladies who were putting up stock and talking amongst themselves. I politely approached them. They did not acknowledge my presence. So, I waited for a pause in their conversation before inquiring. Only 1 of the associates even bothered to partially look my way as I was inquiring, but she said nothing and just looked at me. Then, one of the other ladies made eye contact and told me in a strange way that the item I was looking for "could not be located at this time." No other product recommendations. No follow up questions. No guidance. No smiles. Just cold stares. I felt like I was inconveniencing them, and that I was not welcome. So I left. I may look thin and plain in my comfy casual clothes and no makeup, but I'm tired and in pain from battling cancer. I spent over 1k on my Christmas party supplies between Michaels and Home Goods today.
