I have never seen a place more disorganized and careless than the Mt. Pleasant store (Maybe Texarkana too). They ship windows flat and strapped to a pallet, loaded on a flatbed and strapped to it with a 4inch strap as tight as they can get it. They seldom answer the phone and when they do it is always a different person, they hang up on you and then no answer when you re-call them. You cannot speak to a manager seldom and they will not return your call. The delivery driver who was 3 hours late had his calls going to voice mail and I could get no update as to whether it would arrive today, tomorrow or never. The online site of Lowes is a joke and seldom works friendly. When you call the PRO DESK, they do not know they are answering the PRO DESK phone. They are unhelpful and just recite the script that" It says on the screen you order should be there by 12:00pm and it is already 3:00pm. They changed my delivery date three times before they delivered it. It was scheduled to be installed when they said it would arrive and it did not arrive. I asked on 4 occasions to speak to a store manager and 4 times it rang off the wall for 20 minutes and I never got to speak to a manager. They would not be of help as they always defend their breakroom buddies to the public and see a customer complaint as not important. They think well he will get frustrated and give up, that is their mindset. Everyone is mad they have to work at such a menial low wage job of $15 and hour. If you do not watch them they load the crappiest lumber they can so they will not have to move it in the store. The problem is not local, it is nationwide. They charge 479 to deliver and then I have to drive 60 miles to take the broken stuff back. I will take my next business to Home Depot. I have bought over $6,000 from them this month, but never again. The days of RESPONSIBILTY from a merchant dies with my grandfather. They called me to ask what color paint I wanted and woke me up then arrived 7 hours later, the person did not even know the paint code is in the model number of the paint, no one knows anything about anything.
