It’s not a good impression at all. Placed an online for pick up and it took forever. 5-1/2 hrs later I called since the app said it was still being processed. The computerized AI on the phone said it was ready and texted me a confirmation to come pick up. Upon arriving; had to go in since the link went to the app and said “not ready”
The head of the department was called and the young kids running the store didn’t seem to have any care in the world or since of customer service what so ever. In a town were we can drive 20 minutes in any direction to get to 3 Home Depot’s and 2 other Lowe’s I would think the would like to keep local business. They still had to pull some items and I had to help wheel out the carts. The final thank you was give us a 10 out of 10 on the review. I’m seriously thinking the other two thirds of my project is going to be coming from the orange box instead of the blue one here in town.

We have a huge project we are doing, was excited to have Lowe’s so close.
Placed an order online at 1 and over 5.5hrs later order still wasn’t pulled according to the order status. Called to check status… over the phone they said it was ready. We get there and the order STILL WAS NOT ready and there is absolutely not a care in the world with wanting to help get the order pulled despite it being already 5.5 hrs since the order was placed and despite having been told on the phone it was ready.
My husband finally went in and helped finish pulling our order. There was no apologies, just asked that we give a 10 on the review. The kid that helped load was actually very professional and helpful and shook my husbands hand but the manager lady from the department was absolutely NOT helpful!
Really hoping this was a fluke thing and they are working out the kinks being newly opened. Like I said we have a big project and still have many things to buy, would rather get it here, but not sure if we should chance it since we lost over half day.

1000 times better experience than Lowe’s in Waxahachie. Super friendly staff and helpful. Great customer service ! They would not let me return a Christmas tree at Lowe’s in Waxahachie after a week, but I went to this Lowe’s and asked and they said their return policy is 90 days with receipt. Lowe’s in Waxahachie makes it super difficult to return or exchange items. They give a really hard time and they make up their own rules it feels like. This Lowe’s in Midlothian was my first time and I spoke with a couple different cashiers and they were super helpful. Will definitely come back here instead of the one in Waxahachie whenever possible.

I was really disappointed. I was going to make my first purchase at our new store. I found the heat gun i wanted on the app. It's in stock for $26.98. I get to the store, find it, but the shelf tag says $29.98. I pulled up the price online to show at the register. I scan my purchase. Now it's $33.98. I showed the online price to the employee who informed me that I would have to order online and come pick it up for that price. I told them that the shelf tag was a completely different price. I was informed, "Well, it rings up 33.98."
I didn't buy anything that day at Lowe's.

They're a new store, I get that. But I went to purchase a new oven and they had nothing in stock. I ordered one, and was told two days to get it to store. It took six. And then when I went to pick it up, they couldn't open the back door for me to get it. Apparently no one had a key to open dock in back. They finally had to carry it through the store. Hopefully they will get better, but in my personal experience, this is typical Lowe's not taking care of their customers

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
