Went in for a water test.I was told my chlorine was high. And my alkalinity was low. They told me I needed pool perfect weekly and 20lbs of alkalinity. I did not buy anything and left. I notice right behind Leslie’s there is a Pinch A Penny Pool . I drove home and retrieved another sample from the pool. I went to Pinch. Penny Pool first time, wow I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and I meet the owner Brian. I ask if they could test my water. I was asked some questions about the pool, how did it look, size, and did I have any issues with it. I said no just need a test. I got my test results back and my chlorine was not high nor did I need any alkalinity. My pool was balanced and in the correct ranges.i asked or you sure the test is correct. Brian did my test again and the results were the same. I explained that I just had my water tested at Leslie’s and was told I needed the following chemicals. .
Pool perfect weekly
20lbs of alkalinity.
Brian explained to me that pool perfect weekly will not work and is not recommend when the chlorine is over 5ppm , and it’s say this on the bottle. I am glad to know I have a new pool store, who actually know and don’t try to sell unnecessary chemicals to customers.
good bye Leslie’s no more.
