My Dad went shopping and they prescanned his items. He paid for them then came home and realized that they didn't charge him for a rose bush. He did the right thing and went back to pay. The loss prevention people came to speak with him and it turned into a big hassle.

Since moving to Magnolia we've been to this Lowe's store a few times. What a great place to shop! The staff are friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to this store as we gradually move into our new home.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I’m a very experienced pitmaster that uses offset and pellet smokers. I know that pellet smokers have to be maintained pretty meticulously to make sure they don’t malfunction and have a decent life span. That being said, I bought the most Elite smoker Lowes has to offer which is their PitBoss Pro Series Stainless steel pellet smokers. It costs over $1000. I wanted to purchase a machine that was a grade above the rest and was dependable. I purchased one of these last year in 2025 and within 90 days it caught fire and damaged it beyond repair. I figured this should be a “one off” situation and so I gave it back to Lowe’s no issues in exchange for another one. Literally about 110 days later, the second one catches fire while I was at a sanctioned competition. The flames were out of control and luckily nobody was hurt. I have been on the phone with Lowes and PitBoss and Lowes has giving me the absolute worst customer service. Because it was outside of the 90 day window by only a few days they made no exception to giving me my money back or exchange it even though it’s apparent that this product is badly engineered. I’ve submitted photos and everything. Pit Boss will supply me parts to fix it but they expect you to have the tools and the “know-how” to break down the machine and rebuild it. Also, the parts take weeks to get to you. I will NEVER trust Lowe’s ever again. This is a product Pit Boss makes especially for Lowe’s and you can’t get it anywhere else, even from Pit Boss themselves. Based on the photo, you can see how hot it got. The special sealing they use is completely melted in parts not to mention the internal parts you can’t see that are destroyed.
