    I had a disappointing experience at the Lubbock Loop 289 store. I came in to purchase a 6.5' x 10' rectangle umbrella that was clearly marked $49.99 in the store, but it rang up at $79.99 at the register. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the cashier told me I could go check the price myself. I walked back across the store, confirmed the $49.99 price, took a photo, and returned to the register. The cashier said it rang up $79.99 and that she “couldn’t do anything about it.” When I asked if she could call a manager to correct the price, her response was “I don’t need to do anything.” I had roughly $500 worth of merchandise in my cart but left the store without purchasing anything because of how the situation was handled. Pricing mistakes happen, but customer service should not respond this way when a customer asks for help resolving the issue. I have also submitted this experience to At Home corporate customer service so store management can review the situation.

What is the At Home return policy?

No receipt? No problem!* Returns of unused items in the original packaging will be fully refunded within 60 days (90 days if you’re an Insider Perks member) with proof of purchase through your Insider Perks account or credit card or receipt and a valid ID. If your purchase cannot be verified, you’ll be issued a store credit based on the current price of the item(s). Christmas merchandise returned after December 25 will be refunded for the current price of the items, even with the original receipt. We do not provide exchanges. You're welcome to return any unwanted product and purchase new items. We are unable to accept returns on mattresses. We are unable to accept returns of pillows and cushions without all of their tags. We are unable to accept returns of items marked “All Sales Final”. Products delivered by one of our local delivery partners, including PICKUP, Roadie, and Door Dash, must be returned in-store. If an item you purchased is damaged or defective, please return it within 60 days to your nearest store for a refund.
