But, when I tried to check in, The website said it had already been picked up. So, I drove to the store, went in and told them. They made me wait and wait. After half an hour watch four employees chit chat, they still had not readied my order (it was just the tile--nothing else). I had to get a refund because after an hour and a half of driving to the store and waiting, Lowe's was not able to complete the order. This is not the first time I have had a problem with Lowe's. I'm convinced that if I order online, they will do nothing until I am physically in the store and actively waiting for them.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
