Saw a gazebo i wanted. Michael H took at least 40mins of his time to go through all the details with me. It wouldn't fit my patio but he gave me a suggestion and that has panned out! Then I needed curtain rods for my bay window, he took at least another 15mins with me to show me online what I needed and explained installation to me. Great service, I got so much checked off my list thanks to him! At checkout Debbie at registers greeted me, she was so nice and friendly. We started talking, I asked where was the delicious smell of food on a grill coming from. Outside the doors from a man grilling, she told me her fav item. I ordered it and the gentleman said "oh the Debbie Dog" lol. It was great! What great service and people all around!

Horrible customer service. They don't answer calls when someone does pick up they aren't knowledgeable. Plan to be transfered a dozen times before someone just hangs up on you. Their pro services are the worst. If you are trying to cancel your account no one knows how and will keep sending you to different departments till the call is ended. I will never shop here again. They don't care.

I’ve been a Lowe’s customer for over 20 years and have made multiple large purchases over that time. I used to trust Lowe’s for big-ticket items because of knowledgeable staff and reliable service. That is no longer the case. I purchased a washer and dryer approximately a year and a half ago that were clearly not built to last. I recently purchased a replacement set, and on the first day of use, the machines sounded like loose objects were violently rattling inside. This was an obvious defect in brand-new appliances. I returned to the store expecting a standard exchange. Instead, I was told an exchange was not possible and that the appliances had to be fully returned. I accepted that process. When I came back two days later during pickup and refund processing, I was told I had to wait for my money. Then I was informed that Lowe’s had no record of my purchase and that the associate who sold the appliances “doesn’t exist.” I had the associate’s business card with me, which directly contradicted what I was being told. This was extremely concerning. Eventually, a supervisor became involved and acknowledged that if he had been involved earlier, much of this could have been avoided. Unfortunately, by that point he said there was nothing he could do to correct the situation. I did not get his name, but he was a veteran and the only employee who demonstrated professionalism during this process—even though he could offer no resolution. Later that same day, I received an email stating my refund would be issued on a Lowe’s gift card, with an estimated wait time of two weeks. That alone is unacceptable for defective merchandise. To make matters worse, the refund amount was missing $400, which forced me into multiple follow-up phone calls just to get the discrepancy acknowledged. I am now waiting on an additional gift card to correct Lowe’s error. As a result of these failures, I am without a washer and dryer for two weeks after spending thousands of dollars. This is not due to product availability—it is due entirely to Lowe’s internal processes, poor coordination, and lack of accountability. Given that Lowe’s prices are often higher than competitors, customers reasonably expect competent human support when something goes wrong. Instead, Lowe’s relies heavily on automated systems that make it difficult to reach someone with the authority or knowledge to resolve serious issues, even when Lowe’s is clearly at fault. This experience represents a failure at multiple levels: product quality, store-level decision-making, refund handling, and customer support infrastructure. If this is now standard practice, corporate leadership should understand that it erodes long-term customer trust and drives customers elsewhere for major appliance purchases. I cannot recommend buying appliances from Lowe’s based on this experience. I’ve gone back to Lowe’s for other items since then and had problems again. I bought a heater that didn’t work correctly, and when I tried to return it, the associate gave me a hard time. As soon as I asked for a manager, her attitude completely changed. They ended up giving me a gift card that can only be used in-store, not online — even though the receipt clearly shows the same payment method I originally used. Apparently that’s their policy now. I’m still waiting for someone named Steven to call me back to fix it. I was told he was “at lunch” at 4 p.m., so I’m not holding my breath. I will not be shopping at this Lowe’s again, and honestly, I may not go to another one at all. I think I’ll be sticking with Home Depot from here on out.
