Hollis Baldwin was born in Kaufman, Texas and has lived his whole life in Kaufman. He graduated from Kaufman High School and attended the University of Texas Health Science Center. He served six years as a medic in the Army National Guard, served as a Fireman/Paramedic for fifteen years on the Garland Fire Department, and then "retired" into the bug business.
