- RERichard Eastman3 days ago1.0I placed an order for 31 bags of vegetable and plant garden soil on Tuesday evening. When I place the order on lowes.com, I selected that I would pick it up curbside, paid for the item in full, and expected that my order would be there the day after when I went there to pick it up. Since I now live in the country, my husband drove almost 70 miles to the store to pick up our order. He was offered several different excuses as to why I order wasn't there, including that even though we paid for the order, it's not really ours it's more a first come first served basis. As a certified interior designer, landscape designer and Architectural space planner for 46 years, I have used Lowe's for at least two and a half or three decades. And as a Lowe's Pro, I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. This is very poor business practice. If you took my money it is my order and I have 7 days to pick it up according to your policy. We tried picking up the order less than 24 hours after it was placed, and wasted 2 and 1/2 hours, plus much frustration, to my husband. This is our first and only experience with the Cinco Ranch store, so I guarantee you we will not be going back. And we would never recommend ordering from the store ever.

It shouldn’t take over 45mins and me having to call them inside TWICE.. took 50mins for someone to come out.. never shopping this location again. Update still here almost an hour later and they don’t have my soil… how do you not hold soil aside for customers?! They had hundreds when I placed the order yesterday.

He was very good at getting my plywood cut to the sizes I needed. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. Great job Joseph.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
