  I contacted this company becuase they had wonderful reviews. Unfortunately, I could not get past the scheduler. I called to find out if I could book an appointment. She said that she could fit me in today, which was great but unexpected. I told her that I would call her right back but I needed to confirm that my husband could accomodate. She said that if I did not book the appointment right then that she would not schedule me for today. I told her that I would call back in 5 minutes but she again pressured me to make the appointment. When I reiterated that I would need to check, she spoke over me and hung up on me. Maybe this company does great work, but I'll never know. A good receptionist can make or break your business.

  My usual repairman went out of business so I searched for appliance repair near me and Max Appliance Repair was the first one on the list. Lucky for me. They offered to come within the hour which was most appreciated but I had to go to work. The fact that they work on Saturdays is SUPER convenient. Jake was very courteous and had my dryer running again. My new go to appliance repair service company. 👍 Thanks

  My Samsung freezer stopped working and I tried to troubleshoot myself to no avail. I called “Max Appliance Repair” and by the afternoon I had a technician on his way. Dmytro showed up and quickly diagnosed my issue and gave me a quote. He was very knowledgeable and professional and explained what he needed to do. When he was finished he gave me a maintenance tutorial so I wouldn’t have this problem again. I would highly recommend this company for your appliance repair.

  My husband called to have someone look at our stovetop/oven, because it was leaking gas. They said it would cost $89 (+ taxes and fees) to come out and inspect it, but they'd waive the fee if we had them do the repair. The guy who came spoke very little English and was only able to communicate to us that the issue was the electric gas valve. He told us to call the company to schedule the repair because they needed to order the part. When we called, they also had difficulty communicating with us in English, and they gave us an expensive quote; but because of safety I just asked my husband to have them take care of it. He has called them back three times over the course of a week and they have not been able to schedule the repair - but they were happy to charge us for the inspection. Every time we call them they say they'll call us back by the end of the day and then they never do. Meanwhile I have an unsafe oven situation with no scheduled repair, so now I'll be calling someone else.

  I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication and overall level of service I received. A technician came out to look at my washing machine but did not diagnose or fix the issue during the visit. Afterward, there was little to no follow-up communication about what might be wrong. I had to call the company multiple times to get an update, and eventually they provided a new diagnosis based on a video — something that was never mentioned or discussed with me at the time of the original visit. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially after paying for a service call and not receiving clear answers or resolution.
