I had been searching for the right bolts for my table legs for around 40 minutes—or at least it felt like it—and was close to giving up. I then saw an associate in the hardware section and asked Chris for help. He found exactly what I needed almost instantly. I generally like the Lowe’s on Cypresswood and SH249. This morning, I came to purchase 2x6x8 pressure treated lumber. There was none on the shelf. The cashier checked the system and said there were over 200 pieces in stock. Then she walked outside and found a man from the lumber section who said what I needed was on the shelf. I went outside to explain that this wasn’t the case. He responded that he was directing forklifts and there was nothing he could do. There were a lot of things he could have done. He simply chose not to act. Being a bit peeved I went to customer support and asked to speak with the Assistant Manager. I was told that he didn’t have time to speak with me.
So, this is for you, Mr. or Mrs. Assistant general Manager. The lady cashier working in lumber early on 11/11 was great. She tried to help and should be commended. I would give her five stars if I could. The workers in lumber put general duties ahead of a customer in the store wanting to make a purchase and not getting needed assistance. That was disappointing. But most disappointing was you being unwilling to step over to the customer service counter to accept some constructive criticism about how to improve your stores customer service. I give you one star.

This is my go to big-box home improvement store.
As the homeowner of an older (in my opinion) property, things consistently break, malfunction or stop working altogether, and therefore requiring fixing.
I thoroughly enjoy updating outdated equipment such as light fixtures and fans, as well as improving the overall styling of our home when finances permit.
I regularly frequent the Outdoor Living & Patio, and the Lawn & Garden departments, specifically.
I have an affinity for working outside to make it welcoming for the family, friends and strangers alike.
I think it is important to pour one's own money, blood, sweat and tears into the family home. It is extremely rewarding, gratifying and pleasing to the soul. Seeing the family enjoying the fruits of your labor feels unbelievably AMAZING as well.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
